Our Founder's Message
Daniel Brito

Back in 2003, after ten years in the world of business consulting, doing projects to increase profitability in several countries, for companies in various industries (such as steel, mass media, textile, agribusiness, paper, food and beverages, metalworking, among others), I said to myself: “I want to do something different, I want to offer large companies a unique transformation method, with which we not only get results, but also the company acquires a methodology that helps it to continue transforming itself…”. That was my idea at the time, but I didn’t know how to make it happen.
Then a few years later, the CEO of a company in the healthcare industry, said to me, “Daniel, I need a very innovative proposal to improve the company’s processes, both in insurance processes and in the hospital…”
I walked out of that meeting and the word “innovative” kept bouncing around in my mind, as if I didn’t know what it meant. I was thinking things like, “How do you generate innovation in a large company?”
Then I got home, and typed in the internet search engine: “innovation companies”, and went through the main results. Unfortunately, I didn’t find anything that really caught my attention. So I changed my search phrase to: “most innovative companies in the world”, and then appeared such names like Tesla, Apple, Samsung, Sony, Zara, Nestlé, P&G, Amazon, Facebook, etc.,
and there it began an intense and deep research on the innovation processes that the seventy most innovative companies in the world had…which a few years later led us to design and develop the Business Interchallenge method. A method to ignite innovation and intrapreneurship in a company.
Throughout the more than twenty years that we have been helping large companies to obtain more and better results through innovation, I could not be happier and prouder for what we have undoubtedly achieved. Four out of five clients do ask for a new project in less than a year.
We firmly believe that any business challenge has a solution. This basically requires the intelligent combination of three elements:
- People: Well trained and focused Personnel.
- Method: Techniques and Tools that induce Creative thinking and Synchronized Execution of the risks.
- Environment: That an adequate environment is generated so that the two previous elements can work.

Our Leadership
Marcelino Pineda
I am Marcelino Pineda, with a college degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering, with an MBA from ITESM (Technological Institute of Monterrey). For the last 20 years of my professional career, I have dedicated myself to collaborating and joining efforts with the partners, shareholders and senior management of important companies to achieve their business objectives in more than 120 business success cases. I have had the opportunity to learn from the best practices in the industry while working full time at CEMEX and DFASS as Operations VicePresident, combining this learning with the unique Business Interchallenge® methodology results in a very powerful and capable tool for facing almost any business challenge. I firmly believe that the innovation, the access to reliable information and the collaborative work are the right paths to obtain outstandings and long-term results. I am an active member of the IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronis Engineers), the APQC (American Productivity and Quality Center) and the PMI (Project Management Institute), in addition to obtaining the Six Sigma Master Black Belt Certificate from the Six Sigma Institute.
Ernesto Cárdenas
I am a Bachelor of Industrial and Systems Engineering (ITESM), with a Master in Strategic Planning (ESAN Perú), and a MBA (ITESM). I am also a Coach in Neurolinguistic Programming, certified by ANLP Richard Bandler. I have 30 years of experience as a business consultant related to improving the productivity and competitiveness of companies in different sectors from their day-to-day operations to strategy with a medium and long-term vision. I have developed projects in Mexico, Central America, Argentina, Brazil, Peru, Ecuador and Chile. Among the sectors where I have developed projects we can mention: textiles and footwear, mechanical metal, financial, food, retail, construction, agriculture, tourism, government, health, security, legal and technology.

I have a bachelor degree of Industrial and Systems Engineering, at ITESM (Institute of Technology and Higher Studies of Monterrey). I have more than 30 years of experience in the business world, mainly in innovation and process consulting, carrying out Profitability Increase Projects in companies in different countries (Mexico, Colombia, Peru, Dominican Republic, Costa Rica, Bolivia, Paraguay, Chile). In those projects we have achieved substantial economic savings for clients, which on average represented an annualized Financial Return (ROI) of 8 to 1 on the investment made. I am constantly invited by various Forums, Chambers and Business Associations in different countries, such as Vistage and REF Renaissance Executive Forums, to give out Conferences and Workshops on How to Improve the Results of Large Companies, which have been attended by more than 6,000 people.
